A comparison was done using frozen gloves in one hand and Hilo therapy on the other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The results showed that compared to frozen gloves, better comfort and lower side effects were observed with Hilo therapy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hence, the results conclude that Hilo therapy can be used for preventing Taxane-related nerve damage, pain and nail toxicity in women with early breast cancer treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Source: Coolbrandt A, Vancoille K, Dejaeger E, et al.
