Arm swellings were also determined in the patients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The results indicated that the incidence of arm swelling was lesser in women using compression sleeves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thus, the results concluded that in women with high risk for lymphedema, prophylactic usage of compression sleeves reduced and delayed the emergence of arm swelling in the first year after breast cancer surgery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Source: Vincent S.
